What Do I Need to Book?

• A valid driver’s license

• Must be comfortable driving a manual vehicle

• 50% deposit required to secure your dates

• Preferred rental dates

Is the Deposit Refundable?

• No, the deposit is not refundable. However, if we receive another booking for your selected dates, we will refund the deposit in full. Please note this is not guaranteed.

Can I Cross the Border to Namibia and Botswana?

• Yes, you can — but only if prior arrangements have been made and approved.

Am I Covered by Insurance?

• Yes, you are fully covered with comprehensive insurance. In the event of an incident, the excess (access fee) is R6,900, payable immediately.

What Happens If the Vehicle Breaks Down?

• Full roadside assistance is included with your rental within the borders of South Africa.

What happens if I return the vehicle early?

• We don’t offer early-return refunds. If you choose to return the vehicle before your scheduled end date, the unused rental days are not refundable.

Road side assistance? 

• Round-the-clock roadside support across South Africa. Assistance in SADC countries is available on a best-effort basis.

Planning a very remote adventure?

• Satellite phones are available as an optional add-on, giving you reliable communication when you need it most.
