Is the Deposit Refundable?

• No, the deposit is not refundable. However, if we receive another booking for your selected dates, we will refund the deposit in full. Please note this is not guaranteed.

Can I Cross the Border to Namibia and Botswana?

• Yes, you can — but only if prior arrangements have been made and approved.

Am I Covered by Insurance?

• Yes, you are fully covered with comprehensive insurance. In the event of an incident, the excess (access fee) is R6,900, payable immediately.

What Happens If the Vehicle Breaks Down?

• Full roadside assistance is included with your rental within the borders of South Africa.

What happens if I return the vehicle early?

• We don’t offer early-return refunds. If you choose to return the vehicle before your scheduled end date, the unused rental days are not refundable.

Road Assist (24/7, 365) – What’s included ?

Breakdown Assistance (mechanical/electrical)

Includes:

Towing to the nearest dealer after a mechanical/electrical breakdown (AFTER 20KM THERE COULD POSSIBLE BE A COST OF R13 PER KILOMETER)

• Locksmith: call-out + 1 hour labor if keys are locked in the car

• Flat tyre / battery help: call-out + 1 hour labor

• Emergency fuel: delivery of 10 liters (you pay fuel at cost)

• Roadside referral + mechanic referral + directions service

• 72 hours storage after tows

• Message/notification service for family or business

If you’re stranded more than 100km from home after a breakdown and the vehicle must be towed to a repairer, they’ll arrange and pay up to R500 towards one of the following (for you + max 6 people):

• courtesy transport to one destination OR

• hotel accommodation if overnight delay OR

• 24-hour car hire (with credit card guarantee; limited to listed costs)
